International School Successfully Held The “EIS Cup” IELTS Competition
From 12:30 to 13:30 on November 8, the “EIS Cup” IELTS Competition held by the International School of Huashang College and the Edvantage Institute of Singapore (EIS), kicked off in classroom 409 of the Qizhi Building. The IELTS contest aims to help students familiarize themselves with the IELTS test and improve their IELTS reading and writing skills. Students from the classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021 of the International School actively participated in the contest.
At the start, the host explained the test process, highlighted the rules of the competition, emphasized the importance of reading and writing on IELTS, and expected the contestants to gain excellent results.
After the test papers were distributed, all the contestants were absorbed in the contest and writing the paper attentively. To better experience the IELTS test, the students cherish the chance more and were dedicated to striving for the top spot.

After the competition, teachers carefully marked the papers and fairly picked out the winners. Finally, 10 students won out and were eligible for the reimbursement of an IELTS test fee. 5 winners among them would gain the reimbursement between November 2021 and March 2022 on the condition that they took an IELTS test between November 2021 and March 2022 and gained the score at least 6.0. If more than 5 contests met the prerequisite, the reimbursement will be rewarded to the top 5 in the chronological order. The list of 10 winners was announced as follows:

The “EIS Cup” IELTS Competition of the International School concluded successfully. The competition aimed to improve students’ abilities in English expression, thinking and innovation, provide them with opportunities to practice and test themselves, and prepare for a good IELTS result.
